I wanted to sample an empanada and a sandwich so I started with an Original Seasoned Beef pastelillo. There were actually four flavors of pastelillos. Mine consisted of ground beef & mixed veggies seasoned with sofrito and adobo. These pastries were some of the largest empanadas I have seen. The baked crust was very firm, and the filling was generous.
The food well exceeded my expectations for quality and quantity at the prices I paid. I was impressed enough to give Tito's Deli a full five star rating. :)
This is San Diego best puerto rican sandwich restaurant. The food is authentic and delicious. My favorite is the veggie tripleta. One tripleta is huge and filling. Last but not least... the taste is SOOOO GOOD.

Everything my coworkers and family have ever tried here is absolutely delicious! We go there between 3-4 times a week. The sandwiches are so good and you can get two meals out of it. Most importantly the staff are all so nice and attentive.
